SUBSTANCE: device has gas-filled chamber, hollow metal holder which is mounted in ends of chamber and is open at both ends. Holder holds first and second electrodes. First electrode is mounted in holder by means of holding members through holes at holder side which is opposite to electrode and is insulated from holder. Second electrode is connected to holder by means of current-conducting elements. Power supply is connected to electric terminals of first electrode and holder at both ends of laser chamber.
