FIELD: generation of stereo TV images in arbitrary TV sets which video input is connected to arbitrary video signal source. SUBSTANCE: method involves usage of time delays of leading edges of line synchronization pulses for even TV fields. This results in generation of parallax between image in even TV fields and image in odd TV fields. Then light corresponding to left and right images is directed to left and right eyes of observer respectively. This results in possibility to eliminate processing of information content of video signal. Another claim of invention describes method which involves use of additional pulses which are added to video signal in order to achieve necessary delay of leading edges of line synchronization pulses.
