FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves placing patient on back and leg beds so that vertebral column region to be treated is positioned on the bed junction place, fixing the patient to the beds with fastening members, performing mechanical traction of the vertebral column and simulating manipulation treatment. New is additional rigid fixation of pelvic girdle in the transverse plane and mechanical mobilization by inclining the leg bed by physician hands, mobilization using manual techniques, simulated mobilization by inclining the leg bed manually by physician, manipulations using contact manual techniques, mechanical mobilization by inclining the back bed with concurrent testing quality of treatment and distraction. The device has leg bed horizontal movement guides with unit for longitudinally moving and inclining the leg bed in transverse plane movably mounted on them. The unit is designed as crosspiece unit having bed supports connected to each other and segmented guiding inclination grooves and segmented bed rest members mounted in them. Bed rests are designed as guiding bushings maintaining vertical movements of a bed relative to the rest members in cooperation with rods mounted under the bed. Radii of the guiding supports and rest members are selected so that they provide the level of bed inclination axis above the bed. Back bed is connected to rod of vertical beds movement mechanism rotatable in sagittal plane. Pelvic girdle fixation member additionally has a pair of tie-rods spread from its upper part to side parts of leg bed in the transverse plane. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 7 cl, 2 dwg
