FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to neurology, orthopedics, restorative medicine, and can be used in treating neurological syndromes of thoracic and lumbar dorsopathies. Patient is placed on a traction device with subsequent exposure to the spine by applying a traction force. Upper and lower extremities of the patient are placed on the movable elements of the traction device to correct their position in space due to interactive hardware programmed change of angles of inclination of fixation zones. Then traction force of pneumatic drive of traction device creates traction on upper and lower extremities of patient, alternating isometric contraction and eccentric stretching of muscles.
EFFECT: method provides more effective correction of biomechanical changes in the patients with neurological manifestations of dorsopathies of the lumbar spine.
