FIELD: tools for grinding and polishing rolled metal. SUBSTANCE: petal-shaped grinding wheel has members for securing abrasive-cloth petals in the form of thin plates whose thickness is less than that of petals. On lateral surface of plates there are tapered recesses corresponding to cone dents of flanges and at least two grooves parallel to wheel rotation axis and designed for placing one ends of petals. Plates are mounted alternatively in such a way that their opened grooves are turned to mutually opposite sides. EFFECT: improved design providing enhanced reliability of petal securing, their close packing and multiple use. 2 cl, 3 dwg
