FIELD: mechanical engineering; making of filters. SUBSTANCE: device has base, mandrel with drive to provide rotation around longitudinal axis, and perforated shell. Ring frame members are press-fitted on outer surface of shell. Longitudinal members of filter are installed by mechanism in form of three rings enclosing shell frame members. Grooves to suit shape of longitudinal members and in the same number are made on inner surface of rings. Device has means for rigid fixing of longitudinal members and mechanism for tensioning the longitudinal members and welding mechanism. EFFECT: provision of high quality of longitudinal members-to-frame members spot welds, increased accuracy of filters and efficiency. 13 dwg
