FIELD: shipbuilding; designing of submersible cargo vessel for operation under ice conditions. SUBSTANCE: cargo vessel has towed submersible hull with vertical tight trunk of preset height and buoyancy with inlet hatch on upper end surface projecting above water. Aft extremity of hull is provided with float rising above hull to ensure required buoyancy for submersible portion of hull.
