FIELD: railway transport; repair of permanent way. SUBSTANCE: in proposed method four-point lining device is used for measuring deflection of rail lines in two points of track, comparing the obtained values and shifting the track as necessary by shifting mechanism. Deflection of rail line measured on lined up track is corrected before comparing it with deflection measured behind rollers of track shifting mechanism by means of differential selsyn included into lining device to make it equal to deflection when point of track in which deflection is measured is located on designed curve. This takes place when corrected deflection exceeds measured one by value K1 where K is coefficient equal to l3/L, l3 is distance between measuring trucks and L is distance between end tricks, 1 is value of designed track shift in point of track above which front end truck of linear is arranged. EFFECT: provision of checking of track lining and improved quality of lining. 1 dwg
