FIELD: railway track maintenance and repair machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: double-chord arrow-graph has first rope chord with its length equal to two distances between track division points and second rope chord which is tensioned between front end truck and rear end truck. Second rope chord is of length equal to three distances between track division points. Second rope chord is tensioned between aforesaid front end truck and second rear end truck. Measuring truck is located between front end truck and rear end truck. First rear end truck is located ahead of railway track displacement mechanism and is provided with synchro transmitter or potentiometer for measuring distance from rail line to rope chord. Application of aforesaid embodiment of instrument ensures higher accuracy of trueing. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
