FIELD: railway transport; repair of permanent way. SUBSTANCE: in proposed method deflection of rail lines in two points is measured. One point is behind track shifting mechanism rollers and the other is on lined-up track. Measurements are carried out by means of selsyn transmitters installed on measuring trucks and electrically coupled with selsyn receivers, the latter being connected with control panel carriages by means of flexible conductors. Obtained results of measurement are compared and shifting of track by means of shifting mechanism is carried out. Deflection of rail line measured on lined up track is corrected before comparing it with deflection measured behind rollers of track shifting mechanism. EFFECT: simplified lining up of track, possibility of using four-point liners with slight modification. 1 dwg
