FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this can be used for laying underground service lines without digging trenches. Device has body, striker, anvil, and head-piece. Striker is located inside body and positioned for possible interaction with anvil. Head-piece is kinematically connected with body and can be turned within certain limits relative to longitudinal axis of body symmetry in at least two planes. Maximal angle of deviation of longitudinal axis of head-piece symmetry from longitudinal axis of body symmetry is not over 10 deg. Aforesaid embodiment of device allows for higher accuracy of control when driving bore-holes in grounds which are non-uniform in composition. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
