SUBSTANCE: according to method, information is taken about position of well creating device in space in section of well created at given moment relative to measuring base. Signal is transmitted to receiving unit and is appropriately processed. After that, undertaken are subsequent periodic measurements of position of well creating device in space in process of well creation relative to measuring base. With that, measuring base is displaced along created well together with well creating device. Subsequent periodic measurements of position in space of well creating device are taken relative to at least one additional measuring base. Additional measuring base is displaced along created well together with well creating device after main measuring base. Position in space of main measuring base is determined by means of additional measuring base. Application of aforesaid procedure improves accuracy in determining position of device in space.
