SUBSTANCE: according to method, information is taken about position in space of well creating device in well section created at given moment relative to measuring base located beyond well. Signal is transmitted to receiving unit and received signal is processed. Thereafter undertaken are subsequent periodic measurements of position in space of well creating device in process of creating well relative to measuring base. With that, moved together with well creating device along well being created is at least one additional measuring base. After creation of well section, additional measuring base is fixed in well and its position in space is determined relative to measuring base located beyond well and/or relative to well creating device. After determining position in space of additional measuring base, subsequent periodic measurements of position in space of well creating device are performed relative to position of additional measuring base. This gives high accuracy in measuring position of well creating device in space. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 8 dwg
