FIELD: instrumentation. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instruments ensuring measurement of mass of hydrocarbon in flows of excavated crude oil or natural gas and measurement of water content in these flows. Proposed technical approach uses direct relationship between dielectric constant and density of hydrocarbon mixtures which increases quality of measurements. In the capacity of examples of realization of given proposal one may point to multiphase flowmeters for hydrocarbon used in multiphase mixtures of oil, gas and water and to continuously self-calibrating instrument for water fraction in flow of fluid crude oil.
