FIELD: manufacture of solar cells. SUBSTANCE: surfaces of disks are with imbricated by alkali etching. Such surfaces ensure small- thickness areas on film applied to imbrication edges which are then opened by treating them in fluoride-hydrogen acid; such imbrication also makes it possible to facilitate clarifying of main part of surface. Tetraethoxytitanium base clarifying compound is doped with impurity of same type as that used in forming front diffusion layer (such as phosphoric anhydride); compound is applied by centrifuging and then structures are subjected to heat treatment at 850-900 C in dry nitrogen. Contact system is deposited on face side of solar cell on top of antireflection coat. EFFECT: facilitated clarification of main part of surface, improved passivating effect of surface.
