FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: syringe has cylinder for medical preparation or other liquid, piston which includes hollow shaft forming chamber, "shuttle" locking device positioned in cylinder, and "shuttle" actuating spring. Cylinder stop is cone-shaped with its top facing first end of cylinder. Central part of stop is open, and space along cylinder is filled with great number of light-weight elements located radially around "shuttle". When syringe is used necessary needle is installed on conical element of "shuttle", and cylinder is filled as usual when piston is drawn in. After filling is completed, and required dose is taken, lock jumpers are broken off, and injection is performed. This done, sharp projection of "shuttle" breaks fragile diaphragm, and lower end of piston engages upper surface of stop and breaks through space located along light-weight radially positioned elements. Lower end of piston unfolds "leaves" so as to disengage them from circular projection of "shuttle" and to allow "shuttle" to move into chamber. Other end of "shuttle" is provided with point to puncture fragile diaphragm. EFFECT: improved design. 10 cl, 12 dwg
