FIELD: refractories industry. SUBSTANCE: claimed method comprises preparing initial material by finely grinding stock and triboactivator, e.g. ammonium nitrate, ratio of components bling as follows (wt %): 99-99.5 dolomite or chalk; and 0.5-1 ammonium nitrite. Briquetting is then carried out with or without addition of binder in amount of 4-7% by weight of powder, and roasted at 1830-1900 C. The claimed method is advantageous in that power consumption for preliminary treatment is reduced, and contact of service personnel and environment with large amount of highly dispersed CaO or Ca(OH)2 is avoided. EFFECT: more efficient manufacturing method.
