FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to production of refractory materials and may be used in production of hydration-resistant clinkers and materials of periclase-limy, lime-periclase, lime compositions that contain free calcium oxide, gunned material and ramming mixtures, items. Method of water-resistant material production with content of free CaO includes crushing and grinding of raw components: limestone, dolomite chalk, dolomitised magnesite, marble or their mixture, preparation of additive that activates sintering in the form of calcium and magnesium oxide hydrates with humidity that is equal to or less than 0.5%, preparation of mixture of specified components, at that to 60-95 wt % of raw components 5-40 wt % of additive that activates sintering are introduced. In prepared charge 1-10 wt % of waterless plasticiser are introduced, which does not produce water during interaction with the mass, granules are compacted with the largest linear size that is equal or less than 70 mm, baked at the temperature of 1750-1850°C, ground and screened. Screened fraction with particle size of less than 0.5 mm is hydrated by stoichiometric amount of water and is used as additive that activates sintering.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of method and its simplification; reduction of power inputs for production of material with density close to theoretical density.
