FIELD: poultry processing and pharmaceutical industries, more particularly biochemical preparation of hyaluronic acid used in medical, perfume and cosmetic industries. SUBSTANCE: method comprises grinding cockscombs, extraction, combining the extracts, separating the aqueous phase and sedimenting the desired product. Prior to grinding operation, raw material is first made bloodless with ethyl alcohol in 1:2 ratio, the ground raw material is further treated with ultrasound at vibration frequency of 16-20 KHz for 5-10 min, and extraction is carried out with water at 45-50 C for 20-25 min. Aqueous phase is separated by vacuum filtration and sedimentation with 95% ethyl alcohol in 1:3 ratio followed by filtration and drying of drug. The claimed method makes it possible to simplify procedure of preparing hyaluronic acid. EFFECT: more efficient preparation method. 4 dwg , 2 tbl
