FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: method involves bleeding, milling and extraction of cockscombs with water at 20-22 C. Then extract is filtered and dried. Extraction is carried out for three stages at the ratio of raw and water 1: (4-6) for 2-4 hr. Combined extracts were treated with trichloroacetic acid at concentration 1-2% of extract volume at 20-22 C for 1-2 hr. After separation of hyaluronic acid precipitate the latter is defatted and dehydrated by threefold washing with acetone and ether (2-4 volumes to raw mass). Then precipitate is dissolved in water as 2-4 l per 1 kg raw. Solution is filtered before drying. Product is used in medicine. EFFECT: improved method of preparing. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
