FIELD: tunnel driving technology. SUBSTANCE: this relates to boring through-type collector tunnels. Method implies crushing of rock ground in work face, removing of crushed rock ground and formation of tunnel concrete lining. In formation of tunnel concrete lining, arranged inside lining is additional layer for water-proofing. This layer divides concrete lining into at least two concentric courses. Location of water-proofing layer inside concrete lining allows for reaching required moisture content of tunnel walls as specified by technology. After that, work is done for application of main external course of water-proofing coating to tunnel walls. Application of water-proofing coating in compliance with technological requirements allows for using cheaper materials in construction of lining with simultaneous prolonging service life of tunnel.
