FIELD: mechanical engineering; cleaning of exhaust gases of spark ignition internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: housing of catalyst converter has inner and outer double walls with heat insulation in between, inlet and outlet branch pipes, catalyst blocks installed coaxially, and soot filter installed coaxially relative to blocks. Blocks form inner wall of housing. Heat insulation is formed by clearance between inner surface of housing and outer surface of oxidizing units. Gas feed channel gets into above-indicated clearance. Channel is divided into two spaces for separate delivery of oxidizing agent to oxidizing zone between inner surface of oxidizing unit and outer surface of soot filter and delivery of auxiliary gas to reduction zone between inner surface of oxidizing catalyst block and outer surface of reducing catalyst block. EFFECT: improved quality of cleaning of exhaust gases. 1 dwg
