FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel injection devices of internal combustion engines. proposed system has high pressure fuel injection pump with plunger set into operation by cam drive with at least one cam which limits above- plunger space used to deliver fuel at injection pressure to at least one valve nozzle, and valve with electric drive. At least one cam is made so that, on part of its working surface used to control plunger delivery stroke, first section is provided on which plunger executes delivery stroke for preliminary injection of fuel, and second section on which plunger is held stationary in obtained position after finishing of preliminary injection and is moved insignificantly either in direction of delivery or backwards, and third section for executing delivery stroke to provide main injection of fuel. Valve with electric drive is controlled so that at slow speed of rotation, before beginning of first section, valve is closed and it opens within the limits of first section for finishing of preliminary injection, and is closed at the beginning of third section for executing main injection within limits of which it again opens before cam reaches top dead center. At high speed of rotation, valve is closed within the limits of second section for executing main injection without preliminary injection, and it opens again within the limits of third section for finishing of main injection before cam reaches top dead center. EFFECT: simplified control of valve, provision of reliable interruption of process before preliminary and main injections. 2 dwg
