FIELD: solidifying liquid radioactive wastes by case-hardening them. SUBSTANCE: tank is filled with gravel of fraction size 10 to 12 mm and then cement and liquid radioactive wastes are introduced in it. Amount of gravel makes up 10-20% of cement mass. 0.8 of tank volume is filled with this mixture. Radioactive wastes are fed by means of batcher and pipe connection of the latter is decontaminated upon feeding them. All mentioned operations are made in hermetically sealed enclosed chamber. All materials introduced in tank are mixed up by rotating the latter in vertical plane. Then tank is decontaminated and placed in sealed container which is conveyed to storage site. In sealed chamber, all operations are made remotely. EFFECT: improved homogenization of mixture, its complete solidification, improved safety and cleanliness. 1 dwg , 1 tbl
