FIELD: petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: method includes solvent-mediated selective purification of mixture of vacuum distillate and/or straight-run distillation residue with heavy gas oil, selective solvent-mediated dewaxing of raffinate, and hydrofining of dewaxed oil. Method is distinguished by that, before selective purification, fractions boiling off to 290-330 C are stripped; as heavy gas oil, catalytic and/or thermal cracking and/or coking products are used; and content of heavy gas oil in raw material ranges from 0.5 to 100% (better 5-50%) based on weight of vacuum distillate and/or straight-run distillation residue.
