FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, in particular, production of ferroalloys. SUBSTANCE: method consists in packing of steel enclosures of self-baking electrodes of three-phase ore-smelting furnaces with anode paste of two types: paste moulded in the form of cylindrical blocks with a diameter-to-height ratio equal to 1:(3-5), and in the form of briquettes. Anode paste in the form of cylindrical blocks is loaded in steel enclosures remote from the tape hole of electrodes. Anode paste in the form of briquettes is loaded in the electrode enclosure located in the area of the tape hole. EFFECT: elimination of phase difference, reduced specific power consumption for production of ferrosilicon, as well as reduced consumption of quartzite due to stabilized depth of electrodes immersion in change. 1 tbl
