FIELD: underwater acoustics. SUBSTANCE: hydroacoustic measurement tube includes waveguide filled with water, loading chamber with shutter positioned on end of waveguide that communicates by means of pipe-line with source of compressed air. Preservation of constancy of value of coefficient of reflection of sound energy from upper end of hydroacoustic tube with change of hydrostatic pressure is provided by installation of sound energy absorber made of rubber-like material and having tightly closed air spaces communicating with space of loading chamber through holes made in walls of absorber facing loading chamber in waveguide on boundary between water and air media. EFFECT: preservation of constancy of value of coefficient of reflection of sound energy. 3 dwg
