FIELD: acoustics. SUBSTANCE: proposed underwater acoustic screen is manufactured in the form of leak-tight plate made of two semi-perforated rubber components. Moduli of elasticity of their materials differ noticeably. Mentioned components are joined over complex relief surface that presents system of grooves and protrusions. Chosen geometry of perforations makes it possible to realize pronounced air inflation of plate and required character of change of speed of sound in plate by thickness. Proposed design of acoustic screen makes it feasible to enhance acoustic efficiency of it in wide range of frequencies. EFFECT: enhanced acoustic efficiency in wide range of frequencies. 3 cl, 4 dwg
