FIELD: hydroacoustic protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydroacoustic protection of underwater objects. A controlled hydroacoustic coating is a sealed plate made of a rubber-like material containing air cavities. The plate is made of two elements - upper and lower, interconnected through a layer of rolled rubber with vertical cavities without reinforcing elements on the upper element and cylindrical cavities with reinforcing elements of the "glass of sake" type on the lower element, having a minimum contact area with the upper and side walls cavities, with horizontal air channels passing between the cylindrical and vertical cavities along the entire length of the element at a distance not less than the diameter of the channel.
EFFECT: controlled hydroacoustic coating improves the acoustic efficiency in absorbing coatings used to reduce the noise levels of an object in water under the influence of hydrostatic pressure, as well as increase strength and reduce weight while maintaining piezo stability.
