FIELD: mechanical engineering: cladding of metal surfaces and making of laminated compositions. SUBSTANCE: cladding and cladded plates are connected into pack by means of pair of temporary spacers and adhesive tape. Pack is suspended from support by overhanging edges of plate. Then spacers are removed, explosive is placed on pack and charge is initiated. Several packs with common charge can be placed close to each other on support. EFFECT: reduced labour input, enhanced quality of welded joint. 1 dwg
