FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for fabrication of large multilayered steel structures. When assembling steel package (2) along the contour of a coating sheet and a clad sheet process plates (3) made of structural steel are attached. Assembled steel package (2) is placed on sand support (1). Soft roof (6) and sandy layer (7) are placed over explosive mixture (5) applied on the surface of the clad sheet. Point of initiation (8) of the explosive mixture is placed on a process plate. The explosive mixture is prepared by mechanical mixing of microporous ammonium nitrate and diesel fuel ("ammodiz") adding a dye in an amount not less than 0.002 kg per 10 kg of diesel fuel to ensure visual quality control of mixing.

EFFECT: invention ensures a guaranteed quality of explosion welding and increased ecological safety of welding due to high homogeneity of balanced welding explosive mixture "ammodiz", absent losses for cutting of canopy and reduced transportation costs.
