FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: claimed method is used for preparing mixed compositions of coolants of predetermined composition. To prepare mixture with certain ratio of components, vinylidene is treated with uranium hexafluoride. Vinylidene fluoride to uranium hexafluoride molar ratio is 0.3-2.1: 1. Process temperature is 210-300 C. The claimed method makes it possible to prepare individual coolants 134a, - 143a, -125 and 116 by rectification.
