FIELD: metallurgy, in particular, electric furnaces for hot-dip galvanizing with top heating; may be used in all industries for protection of metallurgical products against corrosion. SUBSTANCE: bath includes steel jacket and two-layer lining which consists of working layer from refractory material and heat-insulation layer. Novelty consists in that the bath is additionally provided with metal supporting body under the working layer and thickness of heat-insulating layer of lining is determined by the relation offered in the invention description. Provision of optimal temperature gradient in section: lining layer-lining heat-insulating layer-bath steel jacket due to which corrosion wear is excluded.
