FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this is used in restoration of pile foundations of power line supports rendered in emergency state due to frost heaving of ground. According to method, pile foundation is sunk into ground base down to design level. For this purpose, installed close to foundation are ground anchors which are connected to foundation piles by means of forcing devices made in the form of flexible links provided with tensioning members such as turnbuckles, springs, weights or guy lines which are used for creating and maintaining permanently acting sinking-down force. Under action of aforesaid force, foundation piles are gradually sunk down to their original mounting depth. Application of this method simplifies technological procedure, reduces labour-intensity and cost of operations and also enhances reliability and service life longevity of pile foundation after its restoration.
