FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this is used in repair and restoring operations for consolidation of pile foundations damaged because of soil heaving occurred due to frost. According to method, piles are additionally sunken down to design level. Simultaneously sunken are piles located at one side of support axis. Sinking operation is effected by steps. In each step, piles are settled down simultaneously to depth which by its value is not exceeding value of deviation of support resting on given piles which corresponds to permissible angle of its incline provided it prevents its tipping down. Sinking of piles is effected by pressing them into ground base. This operation is performed by using system of jacks, levers and temporary anchors. Usable as temporary anchors are perforated slabs which are frozen in ground base or cooling devices operating only seasonally. Application of aforesaid method allows for simplification of technology, reduction of labour-intensity and cost of restoration work and also increasing operational reliability and prolonging service life of consolidated pile foundation. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 7 cl
