FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to erection of piles or posts in unstable water-saturated grounds. According to method, created in ground in two stages are holes with compacted walls. At first stage, auger-type drilling tool is used for drilling hole without bringing ground to surface. Drilling is effected to depth which corresponds to design burying depth of supposed pile or post. After that, auger-type drilling tool is removed from ground by rotating in reverse direction with simultaneous application of downward-directed axial force. Value of aforesaid force is taken as corresponding to determined required value of density of ground in walls of bore-hole. This leads to creation of zone of compacted ground along axis of supposed pile or post. At second stage of operation, after removing auger-type drilling tool from ground, bore-hole is driven along axis of compacted ground zone. Diameter of this bore-hole is not larger than diameter of pile or post being erected. Application of aforesaid method simplifies technology, reduces labour-intensity and cost of building pile-based or post-based structures in unstable ground. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl
