FIELD: geophysical instrumentation. SUBSTANCE: this is used for determining dimensions of components of brecciated fraction, medium and large geoblocks and continental platforms of Earth's crust. According to method for determining hierarchical line of dimensions of components in Earth's lithosphere, recorded is intensity and frequency of electromagnetic radiation of rock matter in section of rock mass being investigated within radio-frequency range along underground mine working driven through geoblocks of maximal difference in their dimensions. Geoblocks are selected for being compact as to their geometric configuration. Centers of geoblocks must coincide with axis of underground mine working having most intensive radiation. Determined is length of radiation wave. Defined is dimension of geoblock. For this purpose, length of wave of recorded radiation is divided by constant coefficient which is equal to 860. This makes aforesaid method more informative. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl
