FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: forced lubrication system has oil sump with hydrophobic split insert installed over entire volume of sump with clearance of 2 mm relative to side walls. Grooves made over horizontal split line in both halves of insert form oil intake space in which plastic framework is installed. Upper plane of insert is covered by rubber plate with holes over entire plate area. Insert is fitted in case made of knitted fabric impregnated with clean and dry oil. Channel for oil pump intake passes through upper half of insert. EFFECT: simplified lubrication system design, reduced engine oil consumption, increased engine service life. 1 dwg
