FIELD: sealing revolving shafts and mechanisms. SUBSTANCE: antifriction ring is engageable with bearing ring through intermediate ring made from material possessing ultimate strength as compared with material of antifriction ring. Engageable ends of antifriction and intermediate rings have planeness and roughness similar to those of respective surface of sealing movable contact. One end is provided with concentric circular groove connected with high-pressure chamber by means of radial grooves; circular band located within diametral limits of leading edge of sealing band and secondary seal is provided on one of engageable ends of intermediate or bearing ring. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and increased service life of seal. 3 dwg
