FIELD: sealing technology; end seals for revolving shafts and mechanisms. SUBSTANCE: sealing movable contact of end seal is formed by members of revolving and fixed units engageable over sealing band. At least one of these units consists of bearing ring engageable in radial direction with body through secondary seal and antifriction ring engageable with bearing ring in axial direction over circular band. Leading edge of this band is formed by diametral side of circular groove where sealing ring is laid. Depth of groove at leading edge of circular band is related by the following relationship: 0,82D ≤ H ≤ 0,87D, where D is diameter of section of sealing ring. Distance between end surfaces of antifriction ring and bearing ring ranges from 0.2 to 0.8 mm. Space formed between end surfaces of antifriction ring and bearing ring, diametral surface of bearing ring and sealing ring is connected with interior of body filled with sealing liquid through two holes made in bearing ring.
