FIELD: oncology. SUBSTANCE: in a combined treatment method provided, individual sensitivity of breast cancer to radiation or chemical-hormone therapy involving ultrasonic scanning diagnostics technique is determined. Taking into account information obtained, adequate treatment policy is elaborated. Ultrasonic scanning patterns of breast tumor before and after each treatment step are compared. Tumor is regarded as responding to performed therapy if, in control ultrasonic examination, tumor reveals reduction in size, changed outline, or increased ability to provide echo signal. When mentioned criteria are absent, tumor is regarded as resistant to corresponding method of treatment. EFFECT: enhanced treatment efficiency. 1 tbl
