FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out ultrasonic examination of the mammary glands before making operation. Isolated microcalcinates availability or lack is tested in the tumor. Polychemotherapy course is applied. The following ultrasonic examination is carried out 10-14 days later with respect to its end. Isolated microcalcinates availability when previously absent or their increase in number to multiple when being available earlier as isolated components in the ultrasonic examination, being observed, gives evidence as criterion of tumor sensitivity to the administered therapy. EFFECT: objective evaluation of treatment effectiveness; enhanced effectiveness in making treatment corrections. 12 dwg, 1 tbl
