SUBSTANCE: claimed method comprises preparing mixture of neutral halogenated metallocene IIIB, IVB and VI B group transition metal derivative and organoaluminium compound and adding ionizing agent thereto. Olefin (co)polymerization method which comprises preparing mixture of neutral halogenated metallocene as defined above and organoaluminium compound, comprises adding olefin and ionizing agent to said mixture. (Co)polymer, at least one copolymer prepared by the method describes above contains as high as 0.5 wt % oligomers has molecular weight distribution corresponding to Mw/ Mn ratio of 2 to 10 wherein Mw and Mn are average molecular weight and number-molecular weight and contains weight parts of transition metal. The claimed method makes it possible to prepare catalyst systems using carrier supported metallocenes and avoiding use of unstable non- halogenated and polymethylated metallocenes.
