FIELD: developing and updating exhaust pipes of steam turbines. SUBSTANCE: exhaust pipe has body with stiffening members built up of upper and lower horizontally split parts and provided with two anti-vortex devices arranged in lower split part of body symmetrically relative to longitudinal axis of pipe and spaced apart through distance making up 1-1.2 of exhaust wheel diameter; each anti-vortex device is made in the form of grid of crossing strips each measuring in length 45-60% of exhaust blade length; in cross-sectional area they form rectangular cells; opposite sides of cells are spaced apart through 30-40% of exhaust blade length; each anti-vortex device is rigidly fixed to side walls of lower split part of body so that upper part of crossing strips is aligned with horizontal plane of split joint and cross-sectional areas of rectangular cells are parallel to it.
