FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: spectrometer of ionic mobility includes reaction chamber 1, drift chamber 2 housing collector element 22 and source of accelerating voltage. Reaction chamber 1 is divided into two parts 3,4 by partition 5 made from material penetrable to electrons and impenetrable to gas. First vacuumed part 3 has nonradioactive source 6 of electrons for instance in the form of thermoemitter or photocathode. Source 6 of electrons is connected to negative pole of source of accelerating voltage. Second part 4 of reaction chamber 1 houses branch pipes 14, 15 to feed and to drain analyzed gas correspondingly. Proposed design of spectrometer makes it possible to prevent contact of analyzed gas with ionization source. EFFECT: improved functional efficiency of spectrometer. 6 cl, 3 dwg
