SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas analysis and can be used for detection of trace elements of substances in gaseous medium, in particular, in air atmosphere. Device comprises a cylindrical housing, external and internal cylindrical electrodes, arranged concentrically relative to the cylindrical housing to make an analytical channel of the spectrometer, dielectric cylinder, insulating the external cylindrical electrode from the housing, ionization source, located at the inlet of the analytical channel, inlet chamber, nozzles to feed a sample of the analysed gas phase, nozzles to feed a pure gas carrier, fairing, installed at the inlet of the analytical channel and isolated from the internal cylindrical electrode by a dielectric insert; outlet nozzle, aperture grid, electrode of the electrometer, circular locking electrode, focusing electrodes.

EFFECT: low threshold of detecting target substance.
