FIELD: computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has unit which receives interlaced signal fields and generates signal fields which represent brightness and color in interlaced format. Fields which contains interlaced brightness signals are joined to corresponding frames of brightness signal and are sent to compressing unit for further processing. Fields which contains interlaced color signals are processed independently at field rank for generation of color value lines, which are located between lines of source color values and have lesser resolution of pixels and lines. Color signal fields which have been processed independently are joined to corresponding frames of color signal and are sent to compressing unit for further processing. Interpolation and additional sampling of color signal at field rank eliminates the most of color distortion in vicinity of moving images. Receiver provides decompression and post-processing in order to achieve frame data which have source resolution of lines and pixels. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 12 cl, 11 dwg
