SUBSTANCE: invention relates to video signal processing. A device and a method for converting different digital video signals to a single format, said signals being universal on processed video signals, which enable to receive 1-11 video signals simultaneously on different parallel and serial interfaces, wherein video images transmitted through the video signals may have different resolution and number of frames per second, and a different colour space (RGB, YcbCr, Bayer, Mono, etc.), different pixel subsampling (4:4:4, 4:2:2, 4:2:0, etc.), different standardised formats (BT.656, BT.1120, HiSPi, MIPI CSI 2, MIPI CSI 3).
EFFECT: converting different digital video signals to a single format.
