FIELD: video processing equipment. SUBSTANCE: device has line-scan video signal source. Pre-processor generates interlaced signal from line-scan signal by means of selection of interlaced lines from sequence of signals of line image signals. Interlaced video signal is compressed according to MPEG protocol using I-, P- and B- frames compression algorithms. Compression of I-, P- and B- frames follows condition of odd number of B-frames between sequence of I- and P-frames. Selections of compressed I-frames, compressed P-frames and interlacing compressed B-frames (B2 frames in frame sequence example) provide primary compressed interlaced video signal for displaying by interlaced scanning receivers. Selections of respective B-frames provide secondary compressed video signals. Primary and secondary video signals are received by interlaced scanning receivers, while only one primary signal can be displayed by interlaced scanning receivers.
