FIELD: organic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: novel N-sulfonyltetrahydro-[1,3] -dioxepino[5,6-b]-asirines have formula I wherein R¹ and are hydrogen atoms or R²-alkyl, phenyl, or C₁-C₄ + R¹ may be alkylidene group (e.g. tetra- penta- or hexamethylene) and R² is lower alkyl, unsubstituted trifluoromethyl or trifluoromethyl substituted by halogen atom, or R³ group wherein X is hydrogen atom, -alkyl or fluorine atom, chlorine atom, bromine atom or iodine atom or nitro group, amino group, C₁-C₄-acylamino group (e.g. acetylamino group) or C₁-C₆-alkoxy group. Proposed compound have hypoglycemia activity. Novel compounds having formula II C₁-C₄ are used as intermediate products for synthesis compound with formula I.
